The Magic Genie is not just a new age concept. The concept of wish granting angels, Gods and Goddesses have existed in various cultures from times immemorial.
The knowledge of the past has just been brought out for people to understand and apply in the present in a more concise form that is easily understandable.
I come from a culture where manifestation is taken for granted. Anything you want, you just say a prayer, perform a function or chant a mantra. You can ask for certain gifts and it happens. You perform a yagna (a ceremony) and rain falls.
It's only now in this modern world that people are getting so technical that they forget about the magic that exists in this Universe, in this world of ours. If anything stops people from experiencing the magic of manifestation, it's lack of belief. This lack of belief has also permeated into the old cultures where manifestation was a given.
The Law of Attraction really brings home the power that we have within us to get energy to do things for us. More and more people are getting happy now because of the LOA. There is a great sense of relief that at last a solution exists.
Wise people (masters) have always taught us about faith. It is not really faith in the outcome, but faith that the power you have, or the power you gave your task to, really exists. If the faith in that 'power' is complete, then it is also a given that the job will be done.
If a laptop crashes, it could be that the hard drive was faulty. Now if the hard drive is faulty how can anything you put into it be safe? But this Universe is not like a faulty hard drive. This Universe is operating millions of stars, and galaxies. What you put into it is safe, and will be delivered to you.
This is the faith that you must have, in the doer, which is the Universe. Your request has importance, and you will know that your request is being processed because people, things and ideas will be brought to your attention that is in line with what you asked. Just keep an open mind.
These ideas all clump together until they form a bond and become real in your mind, which makes it real in the physical. All you have to do is to allow that coming together of those ideas to create a cohesive bond. And soon it will all start to make sense and be physical in your world.
