fundraiserVolpe Enterprises Auction to Benefit the Lamb Foundation

An auction to benefit the Lamb Foundation is slated for Saturday, August 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Volpe Enterprises, Inc. The auction is part of Volpe's annual open house, to be held at 3238 West Germantown Pike in Worcester.

A free lunch, face painting, and a balloon bounce are among things planned to help Volpe Enterprises celebrate its 39th year in business. Volpe has completed roofing projects at several of the larger Lamb Foundation homes and apartment buildings over the years.

Last year, more than two dozen area businesses donated items and gifts for the auction, which raised $7,400 for New Life Youth and Family Services.

Lamb is honored to be selected this year. Please consider donating a gift or service to the auction and attending the event on August 15.

For more information, please call 610-539-6730 or e-mail information@volperoofing.com.

Next session is July 20-24

Sixty Lamb Foundation residents and staff members recently completed an exhilarating week of Summer Retreats and Travel Adventures, with trips ranging from an Amish wedding to the lush acres of Longwood Gardens and historic Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. It was a wonderful week of fun, food, and friends, without one drop of rain to dampen our spirits or activities.

There is still time to sign up for our Summer Retreats and Travel Adventures in July, August, and September.

Our next week of adventure starts July 20. Week "B" trips include a Big Bands Boat Cruise with a buffet lunch on the Spirit of Philadelphia; some great seats at a Philadelphia Phillies game; and feeding, holding, and riding animals at the Trexler Game Preserve.  Ballooning, banjos, bubbles, and baking will complete the "B" week of camp. To reserve your spot, contact the Lamb Foundation at 215-699-5600 or info@lambfoundationpa.org.
