In time for the grand reopening, we now accept all major credit cards.
The new location gives us more room to display merchandise, including more furniture than ever, and provides lots of room for storage and sorting. The larger thrift shop means more jobs and volunteer opportunities available to Lamb residents, resulting in more opportunities for learning new skills, independence, personal satisfaction, making new friends, and quality of life.

foodLamb Foundation Launches Food Cupboard on Nov. 11

When we open our Cornucopia Cupboard on Tuesday, November 11, we'll be the fourth-largest food cupboard in Montgomery County.  We decided to start the Cornucopia Cupboard because many independent Lamb residents qualify for food cupboard services, and we have lots of space for storage at our new Sweet Repeats location. It's also a way for the Lamb Foundation to give back to the community.
Individuals and families interested in receiving food can obtain the federal guidelines and an application from the Cornucopia Cupboard, located inside our Sweet Repeats thrift shop at 499 East Walnut Street (at 5th Street and the railroad) in North Wales. It is open on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month starting November 11 from 10 a.m. until noon.

haircutsFree Haircuts and Styling from Pat Drumheller
Pat Drumheller, hair stylist and friend of Lamb, has been giving haircuts to Lamb residents for free for the past year. Every Monday between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., Pat donates her time and talent to Lamb residents at the Ewes Mews Clubhouse.
To get a free haircut or a new hairstyle, Lamb residents need to arrive at the Ewes Mews clubhouse between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. While they wait for their turn, residents can play cards and games, enjoy each others' company over coffee, have lunch, catch a movie, or enjoy playing the new Nintendo Wii game systems.
Share Your Talent

Do you have time and a talent, hobby, or skill you'd like to share with Lamb residents? If so, call Jerry Smith or Pat Drumheller at 215-699-5600 to find out how you can help the residents and staff of Lamb Foundation. Download a volunteer application or pick one up at the Lamb Foundation offices.
