Dear SHI Family
Tu B?Shevat, the 15th of Shevat on the Jewish calendar is a good time of reflection for the new things Ha Shem will bring in 2007. The ?New Year for Trees? relates to the various tithes that must be separated from produce grown in the Holy Land. On this day we traditionally plant a tree and mark this day by eating fruit, particularly from the ?Seven Kinds? that are mentioned in the Torah.
Building Bridges
One Family Fund SHI is gearing up to help the One Family Fund to hold a ?bridging breakfast? with Jewish and Christian leaders in February. We hope to plan a larger event in the near future to help this fine organization that assists terror victims families. I will be singing at the event, G-d willing.

We are thankful for our ?Israel group? made up of CA leaders of organizations (Come Answer The Call, Israel Christian Nexus, Schindler's Ark, One Family Fund, etc.) who partner together to help in the rebuilding of the Gates of Zion.

There are many still suffering in Israel from the recent war with Lebanon. It is a true saying, I believe, that the Torah believing Jews and the Torah believing Evangelicals must stand together against so many enemies of peace. We must continue to stand for the land of our fathers among the pressures. ?Be strong and of good courage? says the book of Joshua.

We are praying for more righteous leadership to arise in Israel for these times of great pressure. As Biblical Zionists we must stand by Israel against the pressures of ?dividing? the land and continuing to work for the Aliyah of many who love her.

Update On "Anusim Awake" Book
Gracia Serrano SHI We are continuing efforts to publish the new book, ?Anusim Awake?. This was near completion when my dear father passed away last year. Many things had to be re-edited. Please do remember SHI as all these resources are expensive. Your contributions are always SO appreciated. You can feel safe that our website is secure for your tax deductible giving.
Update on Anusim Center
Anusim Center Interaction1 We hope to head back to Israel in May if not before to do some more setting up at the center. We hope this will be a good ?meeting place? for interaction and support to those Anusim in the land and those who will be coming. Israel is not an easy place and SO much support is needed!

Our Annual tour trip in November (around 7th ? 18th) is getting put together and we are working on the best price! We do not want to leave people out because of such high prices these days, so we will do our best. YOU are invited to come with us!
Anusim Names Project
Gracia Serrano 1 Sephardim Hope International is working to develop a network of B'nei Anusim (Children of Anusim/Crypto- Jews) for the purpose of education and mutual support. This project is called the Anusim Names Project. We believe it is part of the biblical fulfillment of Obadiah 20.

If you feel you have Benei Anusim/Jewish roots in your family line, please email brief information, names, origin, to: anusimproject@sephardimhope.org . You may also fill out the e-Form on our website: Anusim Names Project .

Your information will be held confidentially, unless you include permission for possible research in Israel.
Awakening The Sephardim To The Negev!

Sephardim Hope International is a benevolent international non-profit organization to bring the message of the Sephardic Anusim Jews (the descendents of the forcibly converted ones) from Spain to the awareness of the Jews, the Christian Church and the world. This is a prophetic message of hope and part of the story of Biblical Zionism.

Sephardim Hope International is also a support to the nation of Israel working in partnership with other organizations bringing aid and comfort to Jerusalem and the Jewish people.

Sephardim Hope International is a tax-deductible 501 (c)3 charitable organization formed for the above purpose. Donate tax-free to help support Sephardim Hope International in this endeavor of education, benevolence and helping the Anusim to make Aliyah to Israel.
