	Dear SHI Family We just returned from the Grand Opening of the Sephardim Hope Educational Center in Be?er Sheva Israel on November 19th, 2006! Our trip was both a grand tour of the four Holy Cities of Israel, (Tiberius in the Galilee, Safed, Jerusalem and Hebron) plus our travels took us from Dan to Be'er Sheva (including Mitzpe Ramon). It was also an exciting day of Celebration and sharing the dreams of Sephardim Hope for the lost Anusim of Israel. This is a small but significant step in the future Aliyah of many returning Anusim! This is the biblical place of the return of the exiles of Sefarad as the Prophet Obadiah, Isaiah, Hosea and others have proclaimed.



	The Galil and Safed Our amazing trip with two other small groups brought us to the beautiful Galilee waters and to the Holy city of God, Jerusalem! The trip to Safed, where the sages journeyed from Spain in search of G-d?s spiritual awareness, was inspiring. We visited the beautiful Abuhav Synagogue draped in blues and the artist colony that is always a joy to behold. Here one of our donors purchased a lovely painting by Leon Azoulay called ?The Exodus? that was hung in the Educational Center. This serves as a spiritual portrait of Ha Shem?s covenant promise to the Anusim to the Negev desert. Click Here to Visit Our Webpage....


	Hebron and The Tomb of the Patriarchs Our Solidarity tour took an armored vehicle to Hebron where we were privileged to pray at the tombs of our Fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and our Matriarchs Sarah, Rebecca and Leah. It was a ?full circle? moment of return to my Jewish roots. This Tomb of the Patriarchs (Cave of Machpelah) is the world?s most ancient Jewish site at over 3,000 years old. This was never destroyed and the place is amazing to see and feel its spiritual life. We were very privileged to be able to travel there as many Israelis still have not had this opportunity.



	Grand Opening in Be'er Sheva! Our many thanks to our partners who support SHI and those on the Solidarity/Negev tour! The tour group was terrific and came to stand with us at the Grand Opening! Thank you to the City of Be?er Sheva, Mr. Ishay Avital of the Be?er Sheva Foundation and Shoshana Agajani, Chairman of Reem, head of the volunteer organizations in the city! Thanks to, ?Come Answer the Call? a great pro- Israel support organization from our California state capital in Sacramento, CA, Dr. Arnold Zeiderman and Rev. Timothy Hinkle. They traveled to Be?er Sheva Israel just for this occasion! Thank you for the beautiful plaque in commemoration of the event Dr. Z. and Timothy! Thank you to Rosemary Schindler, from Schindler?s Ark. Thank you World Express Travel, Mr. Meir Kraut and the ground company for their help for the tour group! Our thanks to Mr. Yossi Bracha of the Bracha Development and staff for their kind remarks, help and welcome! Mr. Bracha, a leader and developer in Be?er Sheva also said the blessing for the new Mezuzah on our door. We declared the Shema together in what is now our ?Jewish? home in Israel! 	Awakening The Sephardim To The Negev! Sephardim Hope International is a benevolent international non-profit organization to bring the message of the Sephardic Anusim Jews (the descendents of the forcibly converted ones) from Spain to the awareness of the Jews, the Christian Church and the world. This is a prophetic message of hope and part of the story of Biblical Zionism. Sephardim Hope International is also a support to the nation of Israel working in partnership with other organizations bringing aid and comfort to Jerusalem and the Jewish people.
