A Happy Fourth of July for our USA partners and friends!

We enjoyed a lovely time with family and celebration here in CA. We are grateful for the USA continuing to stand by Israel.
SHI is praying for our beloved Israel going through difficult times in the escalated fight against terrorism in the land. Our hearts and prayers are always with you, with the families of Gilad Shalit and our condolences also for Eliyahu?s parents and family.

June was a transition time with the death of my father. I was able to put a small Israel flag at his gravesite, next to my mother?s resting place. He was a brave anusim always knowing who he was yet wanting to protect his family from the associated persecution of that identity.

Thank you for helping me during Shiva and this difficult process. We go forward with much hope of G-d?s love and favor for the future work of the Sephardim Anusim.

SHI received another Miracle donation in June for the $7,000 needed to purchase the ?essential needs? listed in the last Newsletter! Baruch HaShem! Now we need many other items to ready the center, including: 4 sets of bunk beds (to maximize room for guests) Large screen TV for training sessions Linens, dishes, kitchen things, etc!

There is a possibility for several donations, but shipping to Israel is a challenge. If you know of a good source/partner for this, please contact our office! There are many details, so we appreciate your faithful help, communications, prayer and encouragement to the Sephardim Anusim! Any donation is appreciated and can be mailed to our P.O. Box listed here or can be donated on- line through Pay Pal or Visa, etc.

The end of June also saw an exciting completion of the vocal recording for the new CD, ?Waiting for Return?. I have been quite ill from a sinus infection, cough and allergies but Hashem helped me to get the recording done on June 29. I wish to thank Todd Netland for his excellent musical backup and DKS Studios for their production work!

I believe this will be the best CD, yet, as it is full of variety and excellent music. There are original songs based on Torah and traditional Jewish music, prayers and even a bit of Ladino. We are hoping this new work will be available for purchase on line in about 5 weeks for you to order!
Washington Israeli Summit
This month of July SHI will head for Washington D.C. to help support our friends, - the ?Christians United for Israel? project led by John Hagee. SHI continues to build a bridge of strength for Israel and the Anusim with all those who are willing to listen.

Night To Honor Israel" rel="nofollow" shape="rect">Night To Honor Israel Stage
SHI will be singing at one of the Christians United for Israel events ?Night to Honor Israel? in the Berkley area of CA August 20 and we will let you know a report on both of these major efforts.

This Night to Honor Israel in Berkley is a $50 per person Kosher dinner event with a great guest speaker from Israel! SHI will help with music/concert with the proceeds over costs being donated to the Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem! This hospital is totally independent and treats Jews, Christians and Arabs. Shaare Zedek does not receive ANY funding from the Israeli government. If you are in our northern CA area, you can register at www. acteva.com/go/Israelnight to attend. We appreciate all the organizations and good people who work so hard to stand by Israel when it is not always popular, even in some American circles.

Negev Tour Flyer
We are still inviting YOU to join us and Rosemary from Shindler?s Ark for the Negev Project Tour November 8- 20! It is not too late to email us if you have questions! World Express Travel is an excellent Israeli company that always does a superb job! We need your deposit to SHI of $250 ASAP as all the funds should be in by August 31st to SHI to reserve your spot! We are asking our tour guests to carry an extra bag filled with needed center items to Israel! We will continue to monitor things for safety and the leading of G-d in all of this. Hard times call for much faith and endurance.

This Israel tour of November 8-20 will be a ?history making? event as we join in the Bus 19 Memorial at Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem. We hope to take them a good donation from the USA! Of course, we will be in city of Be?er Sheva for the Grand Opening of the Dona Gracia Anusim Center on the 19th!

The Grand Opening with the Mayor will be at the Center (details to those attending only for security purposes), plus a mini concert at the Hotel where the tour will be staying overnight. We are so excited about this new door and hope you will join us or help in support of this effort! We need everyone that loves Israel to feel they can be a part of this great Torah endeavor!

Awakening The Sephardim To The Negev!

Sephardim Hope International is a benevolent international non-profit organization to bring the message of the Sephardic Anusim Jews (the descendents of the forcibly converted ones) from Spain to the awareness of the Jews, the Christian Church and the world. This is a prophetic message of hope and part of the story of Biblical Zionism.

Sephardim Hope International is also a support to the nation of Israel working in partnership with other organizations bringing aid and comfort to Jerusalem and the Jewish people.

Sephardim Hope International is a tax-deductible 501(c)3 charitable organization formed for the above purpose. Donate tax-free to help support Sephardim Hope International in this endeavor of education, benevolence and helping the Anusim to make Aliyah to Israel.
