Greetings!
Grace & Baby Olivia

We hope that you enjoyed a wonderful Passover Seder with your families! We enjoyed our family Passover with friends at home, although we missed our son who is now living in New York. Sephardim Hope also helped at a Passover Seder with other friends, Jewish and Christian at a wonderful Passover Event for our community!! Even our new little granddaughter Olivia was able to attend! Audrey received a ?blessing? from ?grandma? as I sang ?Sabbath Prayer?.

Rambam Towers
We are still believing G-d for this miracle of provision of $31,000 by May 15th for the final payment on the Anusim Center in Be'er Sheva. We are almost half- way there. We encourage you to participate in this miracle by donating on the website by Visa, MasterCard or Pay Pal. No contribution is too small that G-d does not see and will bless you for blessing Israel! Thank you for considering this.

The City of Be'er Sheva has opened it's arms to Sephardim Hope International by offering training at the Anusim Center once it opens. For more information on the Anusim Center and it's benevolent purpose please click on picture or the link below.

Travel to Jerusalem
Sephardim Hope International is planning a tour together with Rosemary Schindler of Schindler's Ark and World Express Travel to Israel. We will be going November 8-20, 2006 for the Grand opening of the Anusim Center in Be?er Sheva! Details on our website for November 8 ? 20 for $2,895.00.

Azusa Centennial
Sephardim Hope attended part of Azuza, the 100th Anniversary of the outpouring of Holy Spirit at Azuza Street LA in 1906. This commemoration is similar to ?Shavout?, Pentecost, or the Giving of Torah that we will celebrate in June. It was great to attend this event with our dear friend, Rosemary Schindler, from Schindler?s Ark, another Judeo-Christian builder!

At the Azusa Street event we connected with our Christian friends and great supporters of Israel, Malcom Heading and Michael Utterback and staff from ICEJ, and the Jerusalem Ministry Center. I also met George Michael ? Advanced language Services, husband to Susan Michael, US Director ICEJ in the US. There is some exciting news regarding Aliyah!

The Covenant
One of the main highlights we attended was a wonderful production of ICEJ's "The Covenant". This production celebrated the Hebrew Roots of our faith from Abraham to the giving of the Torah to Moses to the Exodus from Egypt (the first Passover) to Azusa in 1906!

"The Covenant" is the story of Abraham to the present day History of the Jewish People and God?s unfailing covenant to bring them back to the land. The performance showed the Jews in the Diaspora during persecution ? the Jews in Germany and the Jews in Spain, which really brought tears to my eyes. There was also a special addition - the Azuza Street outpouring of the Holy Spirit added to the presentation!

I find it interesting that 1906 (the year of the Azusa outpouring) is also the year David Ben Gurion came to Israel in search of Zionism in the Land. This is the date on his tombstone, not just his birth, but the day he came to Israel, for the vision of the Negev. As David Ben Gurion said, "the future of Israel is in the Negev". May God?s will be done!
