Live United - United Way
Day of Action

Campaign Time Is Here!

Celebrate By Giving, Advocating and Volunteering

The United Way Campaign kicks off today -- celebrate in person or online!

  • In person: Today is also our Fifth Annual Day of Action! There's still time to register to volunteer with us at 2:30 p.m. at the Northside Family YMCA. The fun volunteer activities will conclude with a Campaign Kickoff Cookout with food provided by Carytown Burgers and Fries. Come to both, or just come for the Cookout! Please RSVP online to participate.
  • Online: Get into the campaign spirit by watching our "Donate Baby" video on YouTube, done to the tune of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe"! Then head over to Facebook and download a custom "Live United" cover photo to use on your own Facebook page -- we'd love to see all of our supporters use the cover photos during the next week for our virtual kickoff!
  • At your workplace: Get ready for the United Way Campaign and consider the difference you can make for young children, school-age youth, families and older adults in our region. Our community's urgent needs are growing and your gift is critical to the success of people who are struggling.

More Opportunities to Live United

See Your Donation in Action: Meet face-to-face with the people who put your United Way gift to work! Join United Way for one-hour visits to our partner agencies, where you'll take a tour and learn how you're helping people in our community. All visits are from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.:

Volunteer:

50 Days, 50 Ways to Live United: Starting Monday, our Facebook and Twitter pages will feature a Live United tip every weekday through Thanksgiving. Tweet us back with the hashtag #50Days50Ways, or post on our Facebook page, and show us how you're Living United!
