Join us this Fall for weekly classes with Mr. Kirby and the Quiggly's Crew!

New this Year:Classes are divided by age and held at the same time every Wednesday!
Age-appropriate projects & techniques detailed below...

  • Art4Kids ages 5-8

    • Home School meets at 1pm
    After School meets at 4pm (late arrivals OK!)

  • Art4Kids ages 9+

    • Home School meets at 1pm

Class projects include drawing, 2-D painting, glazing pottery, pottery wheel instruction, glass fusing, clay sculpting, oil pastels and multi-media creations.

Quiggly's Art4Kids Class is ideal for kids with little or no experience using multiple artistic mediums. More than just art education, Quiggly's offers the perfect entertainment venue for children to begin their week with fun, artistic and imaginative adventures!

Our projects are designed to expand your child's appreciation for creative learning and artistic expression. Developing skills to produce both 2-D and 3-D art in the form of drawings, paintings, ceramics, mosaics, glass fusion and more requires practice in designing, planning and executing the creative process.

    Both Home School and After School classes will be held Wednesdays beginning Sept. 8 and continuing until Christmas break.

  • Pricing:
  • Full Semester: 14 classes: $299+tax. (You save $51 off daily rate).
  • Second and third siblings receive %15 off the discounted Full Semester rate: $254.15 +tax. (You save $96).

  • One or more class only: $25 +tax.
  • Second & Third siblings receive %15 off one or more class: $21.25 +tax. (You save $3.75).

  • 22: Mosaic Basics- Animal Wall Plaques that come to life!

  • 6: Basic Glass Fusion Instruction: Sushi Bowls with frit, stringers, noodles, rods, gems, strips and chips!
  • 13: Pottery Wheel: Shaping Vases & Goblets
  • 20: Clay Sculpting: Puzzled Turkeys
  • 27: Pottery Wheel: Making Lidded Containers Practices

    November:
  • 3: Drawing & Coloring: Self-Portraits & Coloring w/ color pencils
  • 10: Pottery Wheel: Double-Walled Vessels: Single-Serving Chip 'n Dip Bowls
  • 17: Drawing & Painting: creating a scene with a sailboat at sea near an island; includes color mixing, and creating tints & shades with black & white paint
  • 24: NO CLASS

    December:
  • 1: Pottery Wheel: Final-Fun Session: Throw what you know! (self-guided spinning with help)
  • 8: Pottery Painting: Gifts for Mom & Dad
  • 15: Pottery Wheel: Final-Fun Session: Throw what you know! (self-guided spinning with help)
  • 22: NO CLASS

    September:
  • 8: Basic & Advanced Pottery Wheel instruction: including. wheel-wedging & throwing the Italian way
  • 15: -this project & technique may change!-Pottery Painting: Themed Piggy Banks: i.e. Camouflage Pig, Grouchy Pig, Potty Mouth Pig, Diva Pig, Sponge Bob Square-Pig, Pegasus Piggie, Elvis Pig, Patriot Pig, or think of your own design!
  • 22: Pottery Wheel: Bowl-A-Thon! spin bowls till u blow
  • 29: Mosaics: Huge Wall Spirals- Creating Pattern and color blending with tile tessarae

    October:
  • 6: Pottery Wheel: Shaping Tall Cylinders & altering, adding lids also
  • 13: Glass Fusion Basics & Advanced Techniques: Creating Bubbles in & using Metal Inclusions in glass
  • 20: Pottery Wheel: Tea Pots- including spout, lid & handle
  • 27: Clay sculpting: Completing Tea Pots & attaching handle, spout and lid-knob
      Also, Pinching Tea Cups to complete the set!


    November:
  • 3: Pottery Wheel: hand-altering thrown vessels- fluting, ratcheting, stippling, slip-coloring, etc.
  • 10: Drawing & Painting: Designing Landscapes in one or two-point perspective & painting with tempura (includes making tints & shades, color mixing, etc.
  • 17: Final Pottery Wheel Sessions: Student- Guided Instruction (your child creates a series of vessels or focuses on a particular form to master)
  • 24: NO CLASS

    December:
  • 1: Drawing & Painting: Human Body Proportion through geometry & Coloring w/ Oil Pastels
  • 8: Final Pottery Wheel Sessions: Student- Guided Instruction (your child creates a series of vessels or focuses on a particular form to master)
  • 15: Clay Sculpting: Egyptian Canopic jars with your name in Hieroglyphics with a carved Cartouche!
  • 22: NO CLASS
