Bishop Richard Garcia of the Monterey Diocese spoke to the Saint Mary's community about the Catholic Church's obligation to help eliminate gang violence.

Shomari Carter is just one of many veterans who have come to the College after serving in the military. Since Saint Mary's instituted the federal Yellow Ribbon Program in 2009, the veteran population has increased from 12 to 34 students.

Students in Saint Mary's Trans-Global Executive MBA program recently traveled to India to lend their experience to nonprofit agencies. 


Molly Matles '10New Addition to the Alumni Team!

Join us in welcoming alumna Molly Matles '10 to the Office of Alumni & Volunteer Engagement.  In her role as event coordinator, Molly will be responsible for planning and staffing regional alumni chapter and pre-game events, as well as assisting the alumni team with reunion weekend, annual athletic fundraisers and recognition celebrations.



MBKGaels Defeat BYU in WCC Opener

Men's basketball opened their WCC schedule against conference newcomer BYU, posting a spirited 98-82 victory over the Brigham Young Cougars on national TV.


WBKGaels Host USF and USD in Women's WCC Action This Week

Following victories over Loyola Marymount and Brigham Young last weekend, the women's basketball team (11-4, 2-0 WCC) returns to McKeon Pavilion to host USF on Thursday and USD on Saturday.


SoccerHistoric Ranking for Men's Soccer

The men's soccer team ended the year with its highest national ranking in school history, finishing 14th in the nation in the final National Soccer Coaches Association of America Poll.


Women's Tennis Well Represented in First ITA Rankings

After their second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance last season and a 13-10 record, the Gaels will open the 2012 season ranked No. 41 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
