Saint Mary's Selected as Presidential Debate Finalist
The Commission on Presidential Debates has announced that Saint Mary's is one of 12 colleges under consideration to host a 2012 general election presidential debate. The debate also would serve as a cornerstone event for the College's 150th anniversary celebration during the 2012-13 academic year.

Students Lobby for Cal Grants in Sacramento
For 630 Saint Mary's students, or 25% of all undergraduates, the Cal Grant represents a substantial portion of their financial aid package. Four SMC students attended the annual Cal Grant Lobby Day to meet with legislators and discuss the impact Cal Grants have made on their ability to pursue higher education.
Commencement Speakers for 2011
Entrepreneur and California broadband advocate Sherie Swiess Dodsworth '78 will deliver the undergraduate Commencement address on May 21, while Sunne Wright McPeak, president and CEO of the California Emerging Technology Fund, will address the graduate students on May 22.

Angels Among Us
