 On a sadder note:
We've lost another great one. On Tuesday "Blu Hors Matine" was euthanized after a freak pasture accident, at the ripe old age of 13. This horse is probably the closest thing to an "internet sensation" the professional show world has ever known, and if you have never witnessed her amazing performance at the 2006 World Equestrian Games you absolutely must watch it - all of it - right on down to the booty-shaking end. I have tortured many non-horse friends with this video of her dance and every single one fell in love. She was a once in a lifetime horse, and it seems these lifetimes have been cut far too short of late. Up there now with Theodore O'Conner, and the still fresh memories of Royal Kaliber, Blu Hors Matine now lingers. May the three of them get together and make one kickass 3 day team.
