PONY PROFILE & NEW VIDEO:
SHILOH'S WAY TOO PRETTY
Pony Profile's feature Sale Ponies that have qualified for and will be attending the 2009 Pony Finals in Lexington, KY. These questions were posed to our young riders so Buyers can learn about our ponies from a kid's point of view . . . which is kind of how it should be. Each of these ponies will be available to be seen and tried at Pony Finals. For more Pony Profiles click here. (we will be continuing to add more Profiles all the way up to Finals!)

Will this pony also compete in the Pony Medal Final? No

Have you and/or your pony ever been to Pony Finals? If so, what was your favorite part of the experience?
No, neither of us have ever been to pony finals.

What are your expectations or goals for this year's Finals?
My goals for this years pony finals are to put in the most consistant rounds that I can. I would also like to be in the top 20 for the flat and model. I also just want to have fun no matter what happens! :)

Pony Finals will champion a handful of ponies as the best in the country, but all of our ponies are special in some way. What makes your pony special? (Could be athletic talent or a great personality trait! Or both!)
Not only is she fancy mover and jumper but Pretty definately has a great personality! Even though she is not a baby anymore she loves to lay down and sleep, A LOT! She even makes herself a pillow out of her shavings. You can also tell by the way she acts the she thinks she is a movie star. She also loves to give hugs and kisses!

How are you and your pony preparing for Finals?
Lots of training!!! I have two I'm getting ready for pony finals so it's been riding nonstop lately. We are also taking a couple weekends off from showing before we take Pretty to Blowing Rock then straight to Pony Finals. I have also been grooming Pretty a lot to make her coat shine.

A lot of riders get nervous before competition, it's totally normal! Do you think the nerves and excitement of Finals will affect your pony?
I actually do better when I am nervous! When I go into the ring so nervous I don't breath I seem to do better. So no, I don't think the nerves will affect my pony.

If your pony could talk, what might he say about the Pony Finals experience?
Wow this is a big show! Wow it's hot! Where is my fan and my personal staff.... I MUST look perfect!!!

FIRESALES: Recent price reductions

It's no surprise given the economy that some of our Sellers are very motivated to sell . . . I'm not saying things are all gloom & doom and horses are being given away, but certain pressures - such as needing to move on to another horse - have led to recent price reductions and great values for our Buyers this week:

AndromedaANDROMEDA: Our sellers are very motivated and this pony's price has essentially been cut in half.  Kind, sweet and totally kid proof. Flashy, a good mover and a cute jumper with great markings. Can do the 3' Large Ponies now, or whenever your crossbar kid is ready. Perfect first show pony, price lowered to $35,000. CLICK HERE.

KohiKOHI NOOR: Great power & potential for Jumpers. Pretty & sane, began career as a Hunter. Going L3/4, ribbons in large company. Careful, clean & confident. Bold but not hot or too sensitive, always game and looking for the next fence. Low Jr/AOs at least, now asking $30,000. CLICK HERE..

MontrealMONTREAL: This one isn't really a firesale, just a good deal on a great first horse of the jumper variety. Can also be prepped for Hunters or Eq, great for kid who's not sure where main interest will lie. Packing fool, will not stop, can clean up to 3'6".  Always tries his heart out, priced at $20,000. CLICK HERE.
