"Woodstock" settles into 3'6" with Tricolors at GO Tulsa Spring Classic
Brandie Holloway and Woodstock reunite to take the
First Year Green Championship and Open Hunter Classic.
Imported from Holland in 2007 "Woodstock" (Woody) has been nothing but a consistent winner in the hunter ring. Within months of arriving in the US he won all 3 weeks of the Pregreen Hunters at the 2007 Spring Fiesta, and in 2008 was Champion at Showpark, Pebble Beach and multiple weeks of the HITS Arizona Circuit in both the Pregreen and Adult Amateur division.

WoodstockWoody first stepped into the 3'6" ring just weeks ago at the Pin Oak Charity in Texas and ribboned in every class over fences with 13 others competing. Last week with Brandie Holloway aboard he brought home nothing but firsts and a couple of fourths, winning the Open Hunter Classic and Green Handy Hunter round to seal the First Year Green Hunter Championship. Video of his Handy Hunter win can be seen at the link below. "Woodstock" will compete again this week in the Greens in Tulsa. He is offered for sale by Brandie Holloway of Equi-Venture Farm. Click here for more information and videos.

BurberryStable partner and limelight hog "Burberry" was again Champion at GO Tulsa Spring. He and young rider Hunter Holloway dominated the Small Junior Hunters to win the hack and claim the division Tricolor. They were also 2nd in the Jr/AO Hunter Classic.  An impressive performance fresh off the Small Junior Hunter Circuit Championship  they claimed at the culmination of the 2009 HITS Arizona Series, and of course Burberry's win in the $10,000 Fast Lane High Performance Hunter Classic the final week of Arizona (new video  at link below!). Burberry is offered for sale by Brandie Holloway of Equi-Venture Farm and can be seen again this week in Tulsa. Click here for more information and videos.
"Good Reason" starts 2009 Season with a Win in 7/8 yo Young Jumpers at Four SeasonsGood Reason
After a quiet winter on the chilly east coast the impressive young mare "Good Reason" returned to the show ring as a 7 year old this year, and ready to jump the big fences.  Seller Alexandra Garrity eased into the first week of competition at Four Seasons with ribbons in the 1.30 YJC class, and Good Reason returned Week II to win the 7 y.o. Young Jumper Championship. That's a very confident start to the 2009 season for this scopey youngster, which continues at the Garden State Horse Shows beginning next week. Video of the YJC win is on its way, contact Alexandra Garrity to arrange a trial. Click here for more information and videos.
"Polar Express" is Reserve Champion Small Pony Hunter at Aiken Spring Classic I
Polar ExpressAlready qualified for 2009 Pony Finals "Polar Express" (Nick) is prepping to top last year's 11th Place finish at Finals by bringing home top honors over fences in the Small Ponies and earning Reserve Champion in the division last weekend at the Aiken Spring Masters. This big strided white pony was Top 10 Over Fences in the Small Greens last year at Finals and is certainly typey enough to repeat that success in the Smalls this year. Offered for sale by Janet Salem's Patchwork Farm in Georgia, Nick is available in Aiken through the weekend, or can be seen at the Atlanta Spring shows beginning May 6th. Click here for more information and videos.
Exchange Movie Studio!
In an epiphany of modernity about four years ago, as I was contemplating the benefit of yet another printed equine sales publication in the industry, I stumbled across the realization that video is not only more cost effective than paper advertising, it's also far more logical. The goal of any equine advert is to produce interest in a video, which Seller sends off to Buyer upon request, and in hopes of scheduling a trial. The Exchange Video Catalog was born of this epiphany, of this recognition of paper promotion as a costly middleman.

Of course video is not without technical trials, and our insistance on custom, in-house media production requires we meet these trials head on. The sheer processing power required to preview and edit movie files in any sort of timely fashion is extraordinary, and we have an entire section of our production studio devoted to this task. It is in this section I have resided for the past week-and-a-half, compiling and authoring the 1st Issue of our 4th Volume of The Exchange Video Catalog. The final cut runs 1:15 and features 19 horses valued at over $1.9M. A total of 27 horses were submitted, but eight did not have appropriate video for insertion. Several of those horses are showing in the next few weeks and will appear in our marketing as soon as they have the quality video we require.

Volume 4, Issue 1 is as complete as I can make it, and has been sent to the professionals for glass mastering and copying. The DVD you'll receive in your mailbox (if you are a professional), or at the May and June shows (if you are an exhibitor or Buyer), is created with the same professional DVD replication process as the current Hollywood craze you might order from NetFlix. It is truly a Feature Production.

And with that The Exchange Movie Studio, and myself, get a small break . . . during which I will load the remaining horses to the web site (there are still 5 more in queue!), catch up on what was a very successful two weeks on the Circuit for our horses (did I mention Likewise was AA Circuit Champion at the Oaks?) and then escape to some horse shows! :)

Though we just completed Issue 1 production five horses are already lined up for Issue 2. It's never too early to begin marketing your quality equine athlete, contact us about our new, modern promotion.
See you on the Circuit!
