Empowering RDs to Promote Fresh Beef Nutrition to Shoppers

Stores across the country are increasingly relying on Registered Dietitians to serve as the gateway for nutrition information for shoppers, and these on-staff RDs are in need of information to educate customers on the health benefits of fresh meat, like beef. To help, the Beef Checkoff Program held a webinar to inform nearly 240 health professionals on beef's nutritional value and the impact of new meal labeling regulation on shoppers. The checkoff is also available to help stores with training and other educational materials around how beef is an everyday food that meets shoppers' demands for healthy meal options. Learn more
