Greetings!

Summer is here and it is time to start planning for Father's Day. This year why not take Dad to a local baseball game and frame the tickets as a memento, or treat him to a framed jersey? Or you might want to restore an old family photo for his collection, frame his dad's war medals, frame his diplomas, frame a child's artwork, make a shadow box to show off a collection of fishing flys, coins, arrowheads, or any of his favorite collectibles. Framing a special treasure is always a meaningful gift he will know you put thought into. We are here with lots of ideas to help you with these special projects.

Frame of the Month
Fifteenth Century Manuscript

This vellum page from a Fifteenth Century manuscript needed to be seen from both front and back. The frame is a black Larson Juhl Petite with subtle scrollwork accents. An 8-ply archival mat in both the front and back keeps the manuscript from touching the Museum Glass on each side. Vellum restoration by Zukor Art Conservation. Alzheimer's Services of the East Bay Benefit a Huge Success

We were pleased to be among a group of local framers who contributed custom framing for this worthy benefit. Every year, the clients at Alzheimer's Services of the East Bay create striking art that we and other framers frame for their yearly benefit. The artists are able to help support the centers with meaningful work and the framers have the satisfaction of helping the cause. This year The Framer's Workshop's piece again won an award. Awards are not only for the framing, but for the creative artwork. This piece, with a wavy quadruple mat design by Sarah and a red Roma frame brought in $475. at auction.

Whether our business community needs one framed award tomorrow or a hundred framed photos next week, we're here to help. We make office visits on a regular basis with personalized service and art & frame samples brought right to the busy executive's desk.
Last month, working with Ameneh Khosrovani, DDS, MS to decorate the newest Aloha Pediatric Dentistry office, we sourced Hawaiian-themed art that would be attractive to parents and fun for children to enjoy while in the waiting room or in the shared exam room. We used vintage replica posters of old Hawaii along with calming photographs of tropical nature. From the minute the young client enters the reception area she is greeted with a smile and the largest Aloha shirt we have ever seen...
