Yoshiko Yamamoto Note Cards for Mother's DayGreetings!

This Mother's Day remember all the wonderful women in your life: Your mother, your daughter, your sister, your grandmother, or your best friend. This year we suggest the framing of family treasures as a way to preserve history. Or, for last minute shopping, we have beautiful boxed notes and more small gift items in the shop.

THANK YOU!
You Are Helping Us Make a Difference for Japan Relief
Matsushima Bay by Yoshiko Yamamoto for Japan Relief

Thanks to your generosity, EMPACT Northwest was able to field one of the first international NGO response teams in Tokyo within 72 hours of Japan's catastrophic earthquake and tsunami. Additionally, EMPACT was the first American NGO to reach the devastated northern region and was able to establish a joint emergency operations center with the Japanese Red Cross and California based NGO, SHINE/CDRS.

If you would like to participate, there are two ways to make a difference by purchasing a "Matsushima Bay" print by Yoshiko Yamamoto.

Option 1: Buy an UNFRAMED print for $30

Order an unframed print directly from The Arts and Crafts Press

ALL the proceeds from this print ($30/print) will go towards the volunteer organization, EMPACT Northwest. In addition, if you choose your own framing design and frame your Matsushima Bay print at The Framer's Workshop, we will donate 20% of the framing price to EMPACT Nortrhwest.

Option 2: Buy a FRAMED print from our gallery for $350

ALL proceeds from sales of these framed prints go directly to EMPACT Northwest. For more information on these options, see our Yamamoto page.

Framing Stories

Children love framing their artwork at The Framer's Workshop. Magda (left) chose this black ready-made frame and a white mat for her seascape. "I framed my pastel drawing to make my bedroom more interesting and colorful," she says. "I made my drawing at

ArtWorks Fine Arts Studio

in San Francisco. I loved working with Elizabeth. It was a lot of fun!"

Please share your framing story with us and we'll add you to our Framing Stories page!
