The Affordable Care Act, the Supreme Court Decision, and Living Benefits.
On June 28, 2012 the Supreme Court delivered its long awaited historic decision upholding the Affordable Health Care Act. The debate on the merits of the court's ruling and what it means to American consumers will go on and on, and the political efforts to repeal it will continue. This article offers no opinion about the law or the Courts decision, but merely the observation that as usual, it is fight about power, money, and control being waged by lobbyists, politicians, as well as businesses and professionals involved in the health care industry.

RECRUITING TIM TEBOW
Living in Florida mandates that you either root for the Gators, Hurricanes, or Seminoles. If you are not a Gator, Tim Tebow may not have been your cup of tea. All we heard was National titles, Heisman Trophies, blah, blah, blah.
The NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars, his home town city, didn't want to draft him because they didn't like his throwing motion nor the style offense he ran in Gainesville at the University of Florida. He may not be able to learn "our" system said the brain surgeons who make these decisions for the Jags. Being a resident of Jacksonville, I concluded that their system was to have 20,000 empty seats at each home game and ongoing TV blackouts. Tim would fill the place up, and the fans would have been buzzing with excitement. Instead they drafted a lineman from the University of Hawaii as their first round pick. All three native Hawaiians living in Jacksonville bought season tickets. A brilliant move by management!
