Firehouse Doors Inspire
Investing in community improvements is no easy sell in today's economy. But when these investments increase safety and efficiency, and when they instill pride in the community, they are well worth it.
 So it is at the firehouse in Larchmont, New York, where Designer Doors recently installed three 11-foot doors.
After an exhaustive search, Fire Captain John Caparelli chose Designer Doors because of the quality of the products and the custom-design of the Wicket door. Caparelli couldn't be happier with his choice. "The new doors are light years ahead of our old doors," he says. "They far exceed the quality and construction of the old doors."  Meet the Designer Doors Team: Jim Grenier
Jim Grenier joined Designer Doors in January of 2010 with twenty years of sales experience in the construction industry. In working with his customers, Grenier has a simple and effective philosophy: treat others as you would like to be treated.
Grenier enjoys educating customers on Designer Doors' various product lines and helping them achieve Architectural Harmony. He loves tackling a challenge, such as that presented by the Larchmont Project. "It was a unique project with three 11-foot doors, one of which required a Wicket (walk-through) door. I believe Designer Doors is the only company in the United States that does build Wicket doors within wooden garage doors," says Grenier.
