 It is almost "BACK TO SCHOOL" time. This year, when buying school supplies for your children, please remember to also buy something for our guests staying at the Catholic Charities Men's Hostel. All of our guests need socks and underwear - sizes medium to extra-large. Some guests may actually be going back to school themselves. Others will be going back to work. And still more to recovery programs or to more permanent and stable social or supportive housing. We thank you for your generosity supporting this ministry.

The Office of Catechetics offers a variety of programs to enrich adult Catholics in their faith formation and to prepare them for lay ministry in the Church.

Are you looking for solid leadership training for youth? Then consider YouthLeader from Sunday, Aug. 26 to Thursday, Aug. 30 at Summit Pacific College in Abbotsford.
This Christian leadership training event is offered by the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, and many participants return to take leadership roles in their parishes, schools, and communities. YouthLeader is open to teens 14 or older - entering at least grade 10 in September.

Annual Archdiocesan Pilgrimage to the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes in MissionThe annual Marian Pilgrimage to the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes in Mission will be Saturday, Aug. 18. Come one and all to Fraser River Heritage Park to pray and celebrate in honour of Our Lady of Lourdes. The main celebrant will be Archbishop J. Michael Miller, CSB. All are most welcome!
Confessions will start at 11 a.m., with Mass at 12 noon. A procession will follow with Rosary and Benediction at the grotto.
