Greetings!
This weekend is Mother's Day, which during this month of Mary is an extra opportunity to show special appreciation for our mothers and motherhood. Whether your mother is still on this earth or in the merciful hands of God, keep her in your prayers. Looking for a gift? A ticket to a retreat for women would make a great Mother's Day gift for any mom...especially if it's a surprise for her. Next Saturday, May 19, St. Ann's Church in Abbotsford is having a Retreat Day for Women - A Message of Hope when Life doesn't go your way, with Katrina Zeno. Talks include: The Goodness of God, The Joy of the Cross, and the Gift of the Eucharist. The day begins with Mass at 9 a.m. and concludes at 4 p.m. Tickets are $25 and include continental breakfast and hot lunch. Phone: 604-852-5602 or visit www.stannsabbotsford.ca.
Sincerely,
Paul Schratz Director, Communications Office
