Catholic Family Services operates the archdiocesan Catholic Professional Counselling office, the Respect Life office and the Marriage Preparation office.

 

If you know of parishioners who are in need of affordable, Catholic, professional counselling, please refer them to our helpline at 604-443-3220 to discuss setting up a counselling appointment. We also offer counselling in Catholic schools.  Please contact Pavel Reid at 604-443-3219 for more information. 

 

This Lent, please support 40 Days for Life in their prayer campaign to prevent abortions; and every First Saturday, the Archdiocesan Mass & Vigil for Life. Please contact Michele Smillie for more information at 604-443-3256.

Lenten Twilight Retreat 2012

Jesus "who for the joy set before him endured the cross"(Hebrews 12:2). The Office of Catechetics invites you to ponder the theme of 'joyful journey with the cross'. Lenten Reflection by Fr. 40 Days for Life Campaign  Kick Off

 

From Feb. 22 to Apr. 1, local Christians will take part in Vancouver's second 40 Days for Life Campaign. Come to the first 40 Days for Life Mass at Holy Name Parish, Vancouver, on Tuesday, Feb. 21 to kick off Vancouver's largest pro-life initiative to date.
Archdiocesan Conference 2012

The Archdiocesan Conference is the annual event organized to inspire, unite, and empower Catholics in their faith and mission. This year's conference is being held on Feb. 17 to 18 at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Look forward to a Friday evening concert with Matt Maher, Holy Mass with the Archbishop, dynamic speakers, exhibits, a ministry fair and more!
