HBR TRAINING MODULES, NEW HIRE PRESENTATION, NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE!
The HBR Training Resource Center is now available to Health Benefits Representatives! This center is designed to assist you in carrying out your duties as they relate to the State Health Plan. Online training makes the most of your valuable time by providing easier access to the resources you need. We invite new and veteran HBRs to take part in the training modules and keep up to date on all Plan policies and procedures.

REDUCTION IN FORCE AND MEDICARE - WHAT YOUR EMPLOYEES NEED TO KNOW
If you have employees who are part of a reduction in force and eligible for Medicare, they will need to purchase Medicare Part B even though your agency will be covering them for 12 months.

EXCEPTIONS PROCESS UPDATE
A number of HBRs without access to a secure e-mailing method have asked for a safe way to submit exception requests to the State Health Plan HBR Inquiry box that will not put personal employee information at risk. The Plan explored several options and we are happy to announce that you may now send your exception requests to us by using "Leapfile."

STORK REWARDS DELIVERS TO EXPECTANT MOMS
More than 2,000 State Health Plan expectant moms have signed up for Stork Rewards since the program began in October. Through this program, these members have received personalized maternity coaching and other support - including hundreds of dollars in delivery room savings.
