To ensure synchronization of data between our electronic enrollment systems (eBenefitsNow and BEACON) and our enrollment, billing and claims payment system, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) is initiating a periodic audit in November to identify any data discrepancies. Key fields of data being audited include:

• First name, last name
• Date of birth
• Benefit package (70/30 or 80/20)
• Coverage tier
• Address

It may be necessary for BCBSNC to seek assistance from HBRs in resolving data discrepancies for employees in your agency. BCBSNC may be calling you in November and December while conducting these audits. We appreciate your cooperation with this effort.
