Stork Rewards Delivered to Expectant Moms
Do you have an employee who's expecting? Encourage your mom- or dad-to-be to check out the new NC HealthSmart Stork Rewards program to see how they can be the proud parents of hundreds of dollars in delivery room savings.
The Stork Rewards program is open to pregnant members* (dependent children are not eligible). To qualify, members must call a maternity coach at NC HealthSmart for an initial assessment during their first trimester and complete one action item, as determined with a coach, for each trimester following enrollment in the program.

State Health Plan Launches NEW Website
Maternity resources, retiree tips and easier access to health and wellness programs - those features and more are built into the new State Health Plan website, upgraded for the convenience of you and your employees. The enhanced Plan website offers a number of improvements, including:
- Quick access to the Personal Health Portal
- A section dedicated to retirees
- A new maternity resources page
- Easier-to-find medical and pharmacy benefit information

Coverage for one routine physical examination and related diagnostic test per benefit period for each member age 2 and over.
