The United States is NOT a Democracy
We are a
REPUBLIC
Greetings!
As you gather around your family for the holiday, it is time to have a serious discussion about what is happening in the United States especially with all the Occupy Wall Street drama and destruction on display in major cities and universities. The tendancy is for people to focus on the word "democracy" . They complain about the "unfairness" of the system and the need for the "redistribution of wealth". You hear a constant drumbeat from the mainstream media that our "democracy" is broken and it is time for "revolution" to fix it.
Unfortunately, the anarchy and chaos that revolution fosters always results in tyranny. The useful idiots in the streets want to collapse the system and replace it with........Please take a few minutes to watch the video below with your family. It discusses the forms of government and why, when Benjamin Franklin was asked what type of government the Constitutional Convention gave us, he replied " A REPUBLIC, if you can keep it". We are dangerously close to losing it. Time to wake up, America !!
