June 2012

Dear Colleague,

The ruling's officially out! The UCSF/UC Hastings Consortium would like to remind you about tomorrow's event on what today's Supreme Court decision to uphold the Affordable Care Act means going forward. As always, this event is open to the public and we encourage all interested individuals to join! Please be sure to RSVP to Roxy Bischoff at bischofr@uchastings.edu. We hope you will join us, but the event will also be recorded for UCTV for those interested.

Summer Roundtable Series
"What Now? Health Reform in the Aftermath of the Supreme Court Decision"

Friday, June 29th, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

UC Hall Toland Hall Auditorium

UCSF Parnassus

About the Event:  The Supreme Court has now ruled on the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act!  In a complex ruling, with considerable repercussions for the future of healthcare in the United States, the Court upheld all of the major provisions of the Act.   We have convened a group of legal and healthcare experts to discuss the subtleties and nuances of the Court's ruling, the likely immediate consequences now that this landmark case has been decided, and the prospects for the future of healthcare under the ACA.  Join us for a lively conversation regarding this important subject, which sits squarely at the intersection of law and health policy.

Lunch will be provided, so please remember to RSVP to bischofr@uchastings.edu.

The entire event will also be live streaming on UCTV, so if you are unable to attend, you may watch it online here.
