Hope all's well. As you may know, UTEC is renovating our existing facility (built in 1839) and building a brand new 7,500 sq ft addition! We invite you to join us for a significant moment in the construction of the new building: the topping-off of the steel structure (celebrating the last piece of steel's being erected)! This new building will be a beacon for GREEN construction and sustainability throughout the Merrimack Valley. We are aiming to be the first LEED Platinum certified building in Lowell and the oldest LEED Platinum certified building in the country! Please consider contributing as a sponsor for this event or a donor to the Green Building project to help us achieve our final fundraising goal of raising $190,000 by November 15th.
The Steel Topping Off Ceremony will be held Tuesday, September 20th at 12pm at 34 Hurd Street. We will be joined by Governor Deval Patrick and other local and state dignitaries. Please join us in celebrating this pivotal moment in UTEC history!
All details around sponsorship opportunities for the Steel Topping Off Ceremony can be found in the Topping Off Ceremony Sponsorship Form.
More info on our overall building campaign can be found on the Green Building fact sheet or on our website.
Please help us achieve our dreams and expand our ability to help the young people here at UTEC! Donate now or mail your contribution to United Teen Equality Center, 34 Hurd St, Lowell, MA 01852, Attn: Kait Schlegel.
Please do not hesitate to call me with any questions. Thanks again for all the support and we hope you join us on September 20th!
