The Town of Henniker's annual Memorial Day Parade will begin at 11 AM on Monday, May 30th. Come out and honor those Veterans who have served our great nation, as well as those on active duty.

The parade will kick off in front of the Henniker Community School before heading to the memorials at Town Hall, and ending at the Angela Robinson Bandstand. Ameriprise Financial will be accepting non-perishable food items and personal care items at their parking lot on Western Avenue from 10am to 1pm to benefit the Henniker Food Pantry.

Also from 10am to 1pm you can stop by the Henniker Community Center at 57 Main Street to view this year's Veterans Photo Display. New to the display this year will be luminary bags that have been individually decorated in honor of special persons.  Any Henniker resident who is a Veteran is encouraged to participate in the parade. Rides are available. If you would like a ride, simply call Steve Burritt at 545-5389. You can wear civilian clothes or uniform. To join, meet at the elementary school at 10:45 am for 11:00 kick-off
