Maundy-Thursday Vigil of Repose:
Waiting with Jesus

The root of this vigil, or waiting awake when we would normally be asleep, is found in Matthew 26:40, when Jesus asked his disciples to support him in his hour of trial. They fell asleep and Jesus had to endure his passion alone. As you wait with the Lord tonight, consider this your hour of waiting with him as he endures the temptation to pull away from God and spoil God's redemptive plan - your salvation.

Join with others who are praying for one hour between Thursday 8pm and Friday 8am. To sign up, call Micky at 359-9204 for open times or email stmatthias@comcast.net.
