We are asking for all those who are planning to make a 2012 pledge to complete their pledge card and return them this Sunday, 12/11. If you for some reason didn't receive a pledge letter and a copy of the 2012 Missional Budget, they can be found on the Treasurer's page of the St. Matthias Webpage: www.saint-matthias.org 

Do you have the gifts of leadership, encouragement, and discernment? Do you wish to serve the people of St. Matthias during this exciting time? Do you want to invest in the work of God as part of the leadership team here? We hope that answer is "yes!" The Vestry serves in partnership with the rector in the mission and management of St. Matthias. We've got a healthy group. This year we will elect two to serve for three year terms. St. Matthias is looking for a Clerk to serve during 2012. The Clerk is responsible for preparing the Vestry packets, preparing minutes at Vestry meetings, and maintaining the Vestry Binder (official record of Vestry business). Skills include working knowledge of email and PDF documents; a laptop is helpful. Please see Fr. Scott and/or current Clerk, Gael Phaneuf if you are interested in serving. We are most grateful to have a Clerk!

In order that we don't have to pay for unused resources for small groups, the books and curriculum on the back table will be available through today. Please look at these for your small group use (and the books will make great Christmas gifts).
