Christmas Giving TreeChristmas tree

Join in helping children in our area whose parents cannot afford Christmas gifts have a joyful Christmas by providing a gift from the Christmas Giving Tree. Simply take an ornament and purchase the asked for gift (each has a general desire from a specific Tri-Lakes area child). Then return the unwrapped gift to St. Matthias no later than this Sunday, December 11. This is a ministry St. Matthias has participated in for many years that helps Tri-Lakes Cares provide for families in need. For more information see Laura Barkocy (481-1335) or lbarkocy@hotmail.com. You may also visit the Tri-Lakes Cares web site: www.tri-lakescares.org.

Help Decorate the Church for Christmas

Please join together at 5:30pm on Sunday, 12/18, to decorate the Church sanctuary and entry for our Christmas service. We need people who can install Christmas lights, assemble trees, clean pews, set up the crèche, and much more. We need people with strong backs and people with an eye for beauty. Please join us.
