 From the Heart...
Trials, troubles, problems, disappointments... the crises of life come to us all. Just read your Bible. It is filled with overcomers...they overcame something!!! The Bible says, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivereth him out of THEM ALL". Our Lord has promised what the devil has meant for ruin in our lives, our relationships, our finances...He will turn it for our good. He is faithful!!!
God will use these troubles to:

Show you you!!! What do these troubles reveal about you? James 1:2-3

Show us new directions...to get our attention...to help refocus us on the things of God.

There are some lessons that we refuse to learn outside of failure, etc. Ps.119:71
-
Troubles often unite us...we come together...prayer takes center stage. Ps.119:67
-
To remind us to address issues before they explode. No one likes confrontation, but if done in the love of God it can prevent many future problems.
There are so many lessons to be learned in the crises of life, but possibly the most outstanding one is that we are not alone! Our God is always on our side working on our behalf. He wants us to conquer and to overcome! God wants us to be the roses in His garden...He wants to showcase us to the world so that He may draw many into His Kingdom. Hold your head up high; you are an overcomer and this is your finest hour. The Church is awakening and His Kingdom is being revealed upon the earth. Don't forget...the greater One lives inside of you!

 Knocked Down . . .
But Not Knocked Out!

NEWS FROM HONEY FROM THE ROCK CAFE...
A few weeks ago, our restaurant,Honey from the Rock Café, was flooded due to a broken pipe. There was extensive damage, but we are thanking God for a quick turnaround. We are in the process of making improvements and when we re-open, we will be better than ever! We are grateful for every opportunity to show forth God's faithfulness in our lives. We may have been knocked down, but certainly not knocked out!!! Even in the most devasting circumstances, if we can learn to keep our eyes focused on Him, we have the victory! God is just waiting for His people to trust Him at His Word and proclaim HE IS LORD over every situation and every circumstance.
