NORTH AMERICAN DECK AND RAILING ASSOCIATION, INC. (NADRA) TO HONOR SOLDIER
Waltham, MA July29, 2011- North American Deck and Railing Association announced today the official plans and build schedule for their Deck For a Soldier® project. The New England Chapter will break ground on the 22nd of August. Construction will be completed in time for a ribbon cutting ceremony, to be held on August 31, 2011.
NADRA launched its Deck For a Soldier® program in 2007; this is a community effort that expresses our appreciation for the service and dedication of the men and women of our armed forces. The project will be completed with strictly donated materials, time and labor.
Maj.David Brouillette recently returned from Afghanistan in December after spending a year in Bagram. This was his third tour serving overseas with the Army National Guard since 2005 where he served in Kuwait and then Iraq. He has children: Kyle (19); Hunter (15); Gage (14) and Haley (10) and is married to Lisa. Maj. Brouillette has earned has earned two bronze stars, a Purple Heart and numerous other medals and awards. Maj. Brouillette currently is a Firefighter in the town of Dracut and his wife Lisa is a Special Education Teacher in the same town
New England NADRA members are humbled and honored to break ground for Massachusetts and know the deck could not have gone to a more deserving family.
