April 13th is aVERY special Day for me.....It's MY birthday...that's right.... 53 years ago TODAY I was born!!! That's right ... April 13, 1958 Glen Warren was born!!  

 FAST FORWARD to April 13, 2010.....Fathers Forever held its 1st Fathers Forever fatherhood class!! Looking back I am in shock...IF I had purposely PLANNED to have class on my birthday..... it wouldn't have happened!  But yes, yes... April 13, 2010 Fathers Forever held its 1st Fatherhood class.. and 1 year later.... we have had OVER 400 men court ordered/volunteer to be a part of the Fathers Forever Program!!  We are a part of The Hammond Road Community Task Force, and teach a class on fatherhood at the Hammond Road Detention Center.  In addition to that, THIS month we JUST added an additional class that meets once a week for 2 hours where we teach our Fathers Forever program at The Hammond Road Detention Center Annex.

SOOOOO JUST WHAT has Fathers Forever been up to this past year? Well I will tell you in just a moment..... BEFORE I do... I'd like to personally THANK EACH and every person that has played any part in the continued success of Fathers Forever this past year.  I don't want to begin naming names... don't want to leave anyone out but I will name a few categories of people:

·         Judge Kristen Ruth and the Wake County Child Support Court Judges- THANK YOU for "getting" my vision and implementing it as part of the Wake County Problem Solving SOLUTION. 

·         Lillian Overton and Wake County Child Enforcement- Thank YOU to all the Case Workers who are collaborating with us.

·         Financial Supporters- I appreciate all of your TAX deductable donations!!! Great or small!

·         CSI/Dennis Gaddy...... for providing a place for our classes which meet on EVERY Thursday evenings and EVERY Saturady mornings.

·         Our Board of Directors-For your oversight and directions.

·         Volunteer Support Staff- You are second to none.

·         The fathers that attend the program- I say to you... THANK YOU!  Most of you come because you are ordered....however; once you attend... you participate and seem to like the classes. 

·         Email Supporters, Facebook Friends, and Twitter Following- Thank YOU all for CHOOSING to receive our emails, "friend"us on Facebook, and follow us on Twitter.  Please CONTINUE to follow us..... and share with your friends.
