Ulla Honored at Bombay Sapphire Auction: Rome
Ulla was proud to reproduce and personally deliver her coveted martini glass to the recent Bombay Sapphire and Sotheby's charity auction in Rome, benefiting Cancer Charities. Roman nobility, government officials, art collectors and international press enjoyed the impeccable hospitality and contributed generously to the worthy cause.
On display and at auction were glass art pieces created for Bombay Sapphire's, "Pour Something Priceless" campaign of the past twenty years by Ulla Darni, Michael Graves, Karim Rashid, Tom Dixon, Tom Dixon, Eva Zeisel, Dakota Jackson and Marcel Wanders.
A duplicate piece was created for permanent display in the Bombay Sapphire Blue Room exhibition and gallery in London.
