Welcome to Ki-Stone's June Knewsletter.
Every month, Ki-Stone Knews & Knotes strives to bring you information that you can use. Information that goes beyond, but compliments, self-care. A way to bring you more ideas/options for an improved quality of living. Join me this month, as I start to expand my writing contributions with two monthly articles at Calgary's The Healing Link* website. Each month, starting this June, you will find a Wellness blog spot and "Green" environmental article contributed by yours truly. I am excited to bring you even more information you can use.
Play safely this month & beyond,

Play your way to a happier you... Resistance is futile!
Sometimes, it's just better to assimilate! Especially when what you're incorporating is fun and temporarily distracting you from your daily stresses. Did you know that daily play is actually good for you? Take a seat and enjoy this months blog at Ki-Stone Wellness. Use it to find new ways to inject some fun into your day. The key to this months blog is to turn your few precious minutes of downtime into de-stressing/ brain building gold! The next time you have a few minutes to spare, remember these sage words of George Bernard Shaw... and PLAY! "We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing"

To your health... And your state of mind.
Take the blues out of this summer's rainy days and play a smile back on your face! Here are a few reasons why you can feel good about the games you play:
- Game play brings you to a state often referred to as flow. "Flow" is a near meditative state induced by play.
- Play is a fun way to blow off steam and help reduce your stress load.
- You can tell your boss... that play assists creativity, flexibility and your ability to problem solve.
- Play increases your willingness to take risks when it comes to sharing ideas with coworkers & friends.
- Play can help improve your brain's speed and memory
