Microsoft FRx Design Essentials I
This two day hands on FRx training course covers the report design skills you need to create, maintain and distribute a presentation quality set of financial reports using Microsoft FRx. The course covers the creation of the fundamental financial reports such as trial balance reports, balance sheets, profit and loss reports, departmental reports, trended reports, side by side reports, variance reports and expense analysis. This FRx training course covers the best practices associated with the power and flexibility of the reporting tree structures going into detail on when to use reporting trees, how to create and maintain reporting trees. Many important tips and tricks are disclosed related to navigation, calculations, formatting, check totals, and other topics designed to increase accuracy, reduce maintenance and speed up the monthly closing process.
Microsoft FRx Design Essentials II
This two day hands on FRx training course covers the topics you need to gain complete control of your financial reports. This course is designed for the experienced user who wants to create a more comprehensive suite of financial reports or is faced with more challenging report design requirements. This FRx training course covers reports such as statements of cash flow, consolidating reports, reports that include statistical amounts and complex calculations, and reports that produce allocations. Also covered are the techniques required to pull in data from Excel for as either non-financial amounts or budget amounts used of variance reporting. Other advanced topics covered include the use of effective dates for automatic building block selection, relational reporting for percent of sales type calculations, as well as advance formatting tips and tricks.

Course fees are $950 per student per course plus $150 for training material.

Microsoft Forecaster Essentials I
This two day hands on Forecaster training course is a scenario based approach to learning Forecaster. Students will follow a best practices approach and implement a multi location budget solution using Forecaster. These steps include application setup, importing accounts and historical data, creating rollups and the verification of data import. The completed solution includes modeling of revenue, expense, human resources and capital expense. Students will be given an overview of security and the setup of groups, users, assignments and workflow.
Microsoft Forecaster Essentials II
This two day hands on Forecaster training course builds on the completed budgeting solution created in Forecaster Essentials I. Students will create a series of presentation quality reports that include various income statements, variance, consolidating, side by side, multiple segment and detail reports. Students will be exposed to report debugging and maintenance as well as advanced formatting tips and tricks.
