Happy Holidays from the Bremerton Marina! |
 Greetings,
As we approach the holidays I hope that you get the opportunity to spend valuable time with family and friends to enjoy everything the season has to offer. We have a couple of different holiday events that may get you excited about winter boating! You can join us in Bremerton for the Winter Fest tree lighting ceremony on December 3rd and then boat over to Port Orchard on December 4th for the Festival of Chimes and Lights. Both events offer a magical fun filled evening for the whole family. Stop by for a cup of coffee or send me an email and we'll catch up on what's been going on in your boating world. I would love to hear what you all have planned for the 2011 boating season. Save the dates for our popular festivals over the Memorial and Labor Day weekends or perhaps join us for the Fourth of July. Reservations can be made for these events beginning January 2, 2011 for groups and individual boaters. Happy Holidays!

Bremerton Winter Fest - Friday, Dec. 3rd | Bring the whole family for the Harborside Tree Lighting Festival and a  visit from Santa from 5pm - 8pm. It's free and it's fun for all ages!
For good things to eat just walk down the street where each step of the way you'll find lots of treats. You'll also find unique Shops & Art Galleries filled with artwork and gems as well as one-of-a-kind gifts to give or keep. Meet artists and shop owners, old friends and new! Hop on the Horse Drawn Carriage and listen to the carolers and choirs sing holiday songs. Stop by the Evergreen Children's Theatre & Aurora Valentinetti Puppet Museum on 4th Street to see exhibits and enjoy refreshments then stroll into Ish for the 2nd Annual Art & Craft Show.
The fun continues with the Magic in Manette where there will be a second tree lighting ceremony at 7pm and entertainment from 6pm to 8:30pm.
Keep Winter Fest going with dinner and friends. The restaurants are ready with good cheer and fine fare, some even have live music to share. We've wrapped up the Holiday Spirit for you!

Festival of Chimes & Lights - Saturday, Dec. 4th | |
 Celebrate the season at the 12th Annual Festival of Chimes & Lights. Visit the Port Orchard Bay Street Merchants to start your holiday shopping and enjoy complimentary chili, cookies, cocoa and candy canes along the way. Port Orchard Bay Street Association will be hosting a window decorating contest and coloring contest for the kiddies.
Events include: Tree lighting ceremony, Jingle Bell Boutique (holiday gift fair benefiting the Arthritis Foundation and other locals), Holiday Stocking Decorating, Skits and Story Time at the Port Orchard Library, the premier of Debbie Macomber's Call Me Mrs. Miracle at the Orchard Theater, Art Walk and Open House on Bay Street, Holiday Pooch and Purr Parade, Hay Rides, Choirs and Carolers, Goodies to Eat and of course, a visit from Santa!
The Sinclair Inlet Yacht Club is hosting Christmas Lane. Decorated boats receive FREE MOORAGE for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at the Port Orchard Marina. There are prizes for the best decorated boats in several different categories including Peoples Choice. Last year over 1,000 people walked the docks to cast their votes and enjoyed this unique waterfront experience.
