The sun has been teasing us early this year and our 2010 boating season has already kicked off. Several yacht clubs have ventured our way and had a great time as well as many individual boaters. We still have visiting moorage available for our 2nd Annual Kitsap Harbor Festival being held Memorial Weekend and the Blackberry Festival taking place Labor Day Weekend. Also, don't miss out on the 2010 Kitsap Wine Festival at the Harborside Fountain Park on August 14th. Get your tickets early; it sold out quickly last year!

WHO'S VISITING BREMERTON?
THANK YOU! Many of you have been out boating already this year and we appreciate you choosing to hold your rendezvous at the fabulous Bremerton Marina. We are very fortunate to have the historic war ship USS Turner Joy not only as a breakwater for the Bremerton Marina but also as an attraction for visitors and locals on the Bremerton Boardwalk.
The USS Turner Joy (DD-951), famed Navy destroyer from the Vietnam War, is now maintained and administered by the Bremerton Historic Ships Association. The museum ship and memorial honors not only the men and women of our modern US Navy, but also recognizes the accomplishments of those who help build and maintain the Navy's ships as well. An active and educational facility makes the USS Turner Joy a unique and lasting legacy to Puget Sound's maritime heritage.
Ship tours are available daily between 10am and 5pm. Need a meeting place? Imagine hosting your yacht club potluck or catered event onboard. Call now to book this unique setting for the next time you stay with us at the Bremerton Marina. While you're there don't forget to pick up your souveniers at their well stocked gift shop!
