 Greetings From the Marina Operations Manager!
I would like to personally invite all of you to come visit me at the new Bremerton Marina - it is truly one of the most beautiful marinas on the Puget Sound! If you haven't been to Bremerton in a while you won't believe the changes.
We now have a beautiful breakwater protecting the marina from ferry wake - I like to refer to it as our Bremerton Breakwater Park. Yacht Clubs like to host their activities under our tent area where we provide charcoal grills and tables; some of our groups have booked bands and others have hosted karoke singing contests on the breakwater.
During your stay make sure you take time to explore one or all of the beautiful parks in the downtown area, many boasting unique fountains that are amazing to watch. You may choose to take in one of the many museums, shop for antiques or enjoy a spa treatment. Bremerton's waterfront area is home to many popular festivals such as the Kitsap Harbor Festival, Blackberry Festival and the Harborside Wine Festival; make sure you plan ahead and reserve your slip!
Please take the time to stop by my office and say hi or drop me an email. Meeting all of you and hearing about your boating experiences is always enjoyable; I believe you will have a memorable experience when you visit us at the new Bremerton Marina!

PLANNING YOUR NEXT RENDEZVOUS
What's happening in Bremerton............
It's time to start planning your 2010 boating excursions now! Weekends are very popular here at the new Bremerton Marina so if you are planning a rendezvous or just want to reserve a day or two give us a call now!
Mark your calendar for some of the special events and festivals that will be taking place on the waterfront including:
- Winterfest (Tree Lighting/Sleigh Rides): December 4, 2009
- New Year's Eve Comedy Spectacular at the Admiral Theater: December 31, 2009
- The 2nd Annual Bremerton Boat Show: January 22-24
- Armed Forces Day Parade (our country's largest and longest running Armed Forces Day parade): May 15
- 2nd Annual Kitsap Harbor Festival: May 28-31 (will begin taking reservations January 2)
- Harborside Wine Festival: August (date TBD)
- Blackberry Festival: September 4-6 (will begin taking reservations January 2)
- Oktoberfest: October 2-3
- Turner Joy Haunted Ship: October 29-31

 FREE PARKING FOR OUR MARINA TENANTS
Port purchases parking lot..........
The Port of Bremerton purchased the parking lot adjacent to the marina creating permanent parking for all of our marina tenants. Hooray!
This has been the #1 request of our tenants and potential customers and a major dissatisfier thus making it a little more difficult to fill our permanent slips.
We beleive that once the word gets out letting people know that parking is available FREE of charge it will bring positive results and our slips will fill up faster.

Money is tight for everybody these days so we decided to do our part and offer money saving moorage incentives for new tenants who moor their boats at our new Bremerton Marina facility. We also offer our existing tenants incentives to show them how much we appreciate their business during these hard times. Below are some of the offers we are currently running:
- Execute a six month paid in advance lease agreement and receive $100 in Fuel Dock Vouchers (redeemable at the Port Orchard Fuel Dock)
- Execute a twelve month paid in advance lease agreement and receive a voucher for Free Month Thirteen
- Bring a friend and when they stay six months you receive a voucher good for One Free Month of Moorage
- Tenants who pay on time for twelve consecutive months will receive a moorage credit equal to 1/2 months moorage - our way of saying thank you
