News and Tips from DC Access

September 2011

Greetings!

Did you know that some of our best customers are referred to us by you?

This summer, we've welcomed more than 96 new customers to our wireless Internet network.  Its been our fastest growing season ever!  And we know that many of those customers are coming to us because you've recommended them.

We like to recognize customers who make referrals by offering a free month of service.  So remember, when you tell a friend to give us a call, ask them to give us your name.  If they sign up for one of our packages, we're happy AND you're happy!

We see your recommendations on Yelp! and the neighborhood listservs, too.  We're proud of our reviews, and it makes us want to continue to improve your experience with us.  That is why we are conducting a survey to learn more about your preferences and to get your feedback about other services we've considered adding. Please tell us what you think by taking the survey now.

Thank you and please keep those referrals and reviews coming!

Nominate DC AccessHilly nomination
Its time again!  Nominations have opened for the 3rd Annual Hilly Awards, recognizing your favorite local people, businesses and non-profits on Capitol Hill.  Please click over and nominate DC Access as Professional Service of the Year.

Nominations are open until September 26th.  Finalists will be chosen from the nominations, and you can vote for your favorites from October 1-28.  Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala on November 13th at the Atlas Performing Arts Center.  We hope to see you there!
Juan PabloMeet Juan Pablo
He's pitched in for us in the past, but this month we are officially welcoming Juan Pablo as the newest member of the DC Access team.  With his technical expertise, Juan Pablo will be doing installations for new clients, equipment upgrades and troubleshooting when we have network issues.

Juan Pablo is also a student, working towards his Associate in Science degree in Networking and Wireless Technologies at Montgomery College.  He's quite familiar with Capitol Hill life, having most recently spent 4 years working at Lincoln Towers Apartments and 3 years working at Frager's. He has also lived on the Hill for 8 years. We're excited to have Juan Pablo on the team and we know you'll enjoy meeting him too.
Thanks for a great summer!

Sincerely,

Martha & Matt

Did you know that Martha's first job was as a lifeguard?  Or that Matt was inspired by poor customer service?  Those are a couple of things readers learned when DC Access was featured on the Think Local First blog in August.
