Greetings!

Since we have packed agenda, we will begin promptly at 7. Doors open at 6:45 for you to grab dinner and chat before the meeting.
We will have a presentation from the Latino Leadership Alliance, learn about Instant Run-Off Voting, and hear campaign updates from SVYDers that worked on campaigns around the country.
Don't forget to bring items for our toiletries drive! We are excepting new items such as toothbrushes, mini shampoos, etc, to donate to local shelters this holiday season. Email Executive Vice President Jordan Eldridge for more info or to help [email protected].
Dinner will be provided by Darcie Green, and SVYD Member as well as Chair of the California Young Democrats (CYD) Latino Caucus and CYD Regional Director. Be sure to thank her!

Santa Clara Stadium Campaign Seeking Experienced Field Staff
A committee formed in support of the Santa Clara stadium project is gearing up for a field campaign in advance of a citywide vote in June 2010.
The committee is currently seeking resumes from experienced campaign organizers for their field staff. Available positions include Campaign Manager and Field Organizer(s). Duties will include but not be limited to: coordinating field efforts; organizing volunteers; and managing a storefront campaign office in Santa Clara. Compensation will be what you'd expect, but this is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a historic campaign that will ultimately make Santa Clara and the South Bay a better place to live, work, and play.
Interviews will be taking place in the coming weeks. Positions will begin in late December or early January.

P.S. You do not need to be a resident of Santa Clara to apply, but it's certainly a bonus.
