| Greetings!
Thanksgiving and the Future
Another Thanksgiving has passed and I hope that you enjoyed your family and friends. We are thankful for the freedom that our country offers us and for the many of you who are fighting hard to keep American traditions alive, especially our men and women in the armed forces. Many did not have the luxury of being home for the holiday. Always remember them and how much they give.
We all know November 2nd was the first of many battles that we must win. One election does not change the course of our country. The bigger battles are yet to come and overcome. But, the first win is very important and it informs the country that we will no longer be silent. We will no longer let our elected officials forget that they work for us.

One of the ways to keep winning is to send emails, letters and make phone calls to those in office to tell them what we think they are doing right and wrong. I have spoken to some of our legislators and they tell me that they are influenced by your correspondence.
Your NCTPP will be more active than ever in 2011. We have added several new members to our Board of Directors who are dedicated to working hard for the future of Nevada County. The liberals are already planning to go after conservatives representatives in our county. That's a fact! They want to elect those whose ideas do not reflect the meaning of the Constitution. Just remember when our Board of Supervisors was controlled by the liberals. It was a disaster! There was no fiscal discipline. They backed every leftist idea that came before them. They believe that bigger government involvement in your life is better than you making a choice. Is that what you want? I don't!
Have you ever thought about running for public office? Do you know anyone who is interested in running? Now is the time! Later will be too late. Think about how you can help our county, state and country. One person can make a difference!
If you have any thoughts on this, send me an email.

Updated Website It's been a long time in coming but we finally have updated our original website. You will be able to view it on Monday December 6th.
There are some new features with many more to come. The main thing is that it will be easier to use with some interactive feature. We will also have better coverage of our county, state and nation, with links to many important articles.
Your suggestion are always welcome.

Great TPP gift Items. The National TPP has some great gift ideas for Christmas and your purchase helps keep the TPP humming along! Elaine and I have purchased some Christmas tree glass ornaments, which are beautiful. It's a terrific item to get for family and friends. There are a lot of items that have been added recently that you should look at. http://www.teapartypatriotsstore.org/index.htm

This is very important. Please take the time to read it. Assemblyman Dan Logue would like to share the following news article update with you regarding climate change mitigation. Article is featured in The Telegraph (U.K.)

We are always looking for articles written by our own people, like the article in today's newsletter by Col. Cadick. If you wish to be a "published author", send your article to me and let's see if we can get you published. The rules are simple: 250 words, be polite, no name calling and stick to our mission statement. I look forward to hearing from you.

DREAM ACT Will Cost Us Millions of Dollars! by Col. Jerry Cadick, Ret.
Senator Reid and Nancy Pelosi announced, at the president`s urging, that they will put immigration at the top of the lame-duck session! Proof that Democrats, after a "shellacking" on 2 November, remain blind to the will of the people. Jobs, tax cuts, fiscal responsibility polled loud and clear in this election. As did Conservative government! Apparently Democrat leaders are either naive or suicidal as they cling to a president who is being dumped by news media, Liberals, donors, foreign leaders and even radicals. The purpose of this NCTPP letter is to let the newly elected Congress know that we object to and are closely watching this immigration proposal, called S.3827--The DREAM Act. It would take many pages to describe this amnesty proposal, therefore a summary will be listed that highlights enough of the Act's bad impact on patriotic, legal, law-abiding, taxpaying and common sense citizens. - College preference to illegal aliens over citizens! NOT limited to school-aged children. (Age 35 and under with full amnesty to age 41!)
- Provides illegal's SAFE HARBOR once application submitted; even CRIMINALS!
- Estimates of 12.1 million illegal aliens, BUT we have no idea how many!
- Illegal aliens get In-State Tuition Benefits!
- Non-high school graduate aliens get waivers allowing higher education!
- NO requirement for illegal's to serve in the military as a condition for amnesty!
- Illegal's given right to SPONSOR unlimited family members!
- Illegal aliens eligible for ALL types of Federal Financial Aid!
- DHS prohibited from removing, investigating or prosecuting illegal's applications!
Ask yourself, Why are Democrats putting the DREAM Act first on the lame-duck agenda? An Illinois Democrat representative, in not so subtle words announced the answer. "Mexican immigrants register 3 to 1 DEMOCRAT! (We) and other Democrats owe our jobs to the support of Latino and immigrant votes!" Fellow Patriots, the Tea Party Patriots' mission and our dedication will save America! Our good works have had a great impact, but we cannot falter. More good work is vital! Accordingly, we must contact our senators and representatives and let them know that this abominable DREAM ACT MUST NOT PASS! TEA PARTY PATRIOTS: "Make it so!" |
