September 12th is now less than a week away and the Tea Party Patriots volunteers have laid the groundwork for one of the largest Tea Party Patriot rallies in America; to take place right here in Sacramento.
Since January of 2009 we have witnessed the largest intrusion of the federal government into the private lives of its citizens in the history of this nation. Many legislators have refused to listen to their constituents and, instead, have gone down a path that most Americans are resisting.
It has never been more important than now to send a resounding message to the political elites in Sacramento and Washington that "we the people" are paying attention. They think we've gone away - we're not going anywhere! We are energized. We will prevail and we are going to send them home since they refuse to listen to us.
But we need your help. This rally at McClellan has freed us up to do more without the constraints and restrictions we have at the capitol. Parking has always been an obstacle, here it is not. Sound levels at the Captiol made it difficult for everyone hear properly. We have no sound restrictions at McClellan.
At the Capitol, we had to carry all equipment up to the steps with no use of trucks or trailers. That included the stage and jumbo-trons which created a nearly impossible situation at the Capitol. Here we can use heavy equipment to bring in what we need and when we take it down as well. Nevertheless, we are planning a rally that dwarfs any of our past rallies. With the expected crowds for this rally a bigger financial challenge was also created.
While so many true Patriots have come to our assistance by donating their time and talent, there are still many hard costs that are deemed necessary by state and city requirements as well as being able to meet the needs of the Patriots who will be there to voice their concern for their country.
We know we can count on you to help. The stakes are too high for us to turn back. It is time for us to make a statement. The pictures of tens of thousands of citizens who no longer will tolerate our government's trampling our freedoms have made the Tea Party Patriots a movement that is sweeping the nation and putting the left-wing establishment on notice.
