Dear Tea Party Patriots ,
November elections are coming up fast. This may be the most important election of our lifetime. We have seen "changes" that are undermining the heart and soul of our country. Government entities from local through federal are ramming through legislation that every poll shows that, we the people, do not want. Taxes are skyrocketing and unemployment continues to rise at alarming rates. We all know someone who is out-of-work, who has a business that is failing or has failed, and we fear for the future of our children and grandchildren.
The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has recently reported that the country's growing debt is unsustainable. Is anyone listening?
We must stop this madness! How can we do it?
First, everyone must become more involved. Your NCTPP needs your help as a volunteer. Spare us a couple of hours per week. Is that really asking too much? We have asked for you to volunteer at the upcoming Fair to help us man our booth. That's an immediate need! Please contact us at elaine@meckler.com and Elaine will set up a time that is convenient for you.
Second, attend every event that your Tea Party presents. They are fun and informative and, again, take very little of your time.
Lastly, and most important, become a candidate for one of the local boards to help influence the decision making process.

We are only as strong as your participation. We all became part of this great organization because we didn't like the direction the country was headed. Our voices weren't being heard. Now they are! Citizens around the country have run for public offices and won because they have expressed a belief in the Tea Party mission statement. We now know that the people are listening and voting. These elections are a very strong message to our un-repetitive representatives.
We have researched all the propositions on the November ballot and put together our recommendations that are based on our mission statement of Fiscal Responsibility, Limited Government, Free Markets, Respect for the Constitution and Bill of Rights and a Government that answers to the People.
