Greetings!

The definition of Truth: the quality of being in agreement with reality or facts, established or verified facts
(Webster's New World Dictionary).

I start with this definition because of the lack of facts that appeared in Greg Diaz' letter to his supporters defaming the Tea Party Patriots in his bid to win an election. I have previously sent you all the documents relating to this subject so I won't repeat them.

Since that time, Mark Meckler has spoken to Sean Garvey, Mr. Diaz' campaign manager. He said he was calling for Mr. Diaz because he did not know why Mark had left a message for him. Mark told Mr. Garvey that Mr. Diaz was not telling the truth because he, Mark, left a detailed message about why he was calling.

During their 1 1/2 hour conversation Mr. Garvey admitted that Mr. Pruett was never a leader of the Tea Party Patriots and that the $50,000 dollars that was coming from us and others from out-of-county was really meant to say that is how much it costs to run a campaign, not that it was coming from us. He said that he would never allowed such a letter to be sent if he had seen it first. He's the campaign manager and didn't know about the letter? Mr. Garvey said that he would make sure that Mr. Diaz would not send that letter again. Mr. Diaz has still not returned Mark's call.

I then arranged an appointment with Nate Beason, my supervisor, to discuss the Diaz letter. Nate is an advisor and supporter of Mr Diaz. Mark Meckler and Elaine Meckler went to the meeting with me, which was held on May 13th in Mr Beason's office.

It was a friendly meeting and Nate told us that he had told Diaz that it would be a mistake to attack the Tea Party Patriots. He said that he would discuss the letter with Mr. Diaz again. He agreed that the letter was full of lies. We asked Nate how he could continue to support someone who has sent out such a letter. He said he had some hard thinking to do. When we left he said he would call me the following Monday, which he did not do.

On Wednesday May 19th, Mark Meckler called Nate at his office, Nate denied everything he said at our original meeting. The conversation got very heated and Nate would not back down from his position. He kept inferring that we were lying about the conversation. He asked Mark, "Who do you think you are?" Nate seems to forget that he works for us, and he doesn't like to be challenged.

What you should know is that the only reason I am involved in this is because Mr. Diaz attacked you and I, Tea Party Patriots, without any provocation. We have taken no position on this or any other campaign. And, I will not allow anyone to attack us or lie about us without a response. For too long we have allowed the liars to lie. For too long we have not stood up to those in both parties who forget that they work for us. For too long we have allowed the politicians to treat us like servants. NO MORE! NEVER AGAIN!

You can draw your own conclusions from my letter. I just want you to know the truth about some politicians in our county.

Most importantly, please vote. Every vote counts, especially yours.

Stan Meckler, President
Nevada County Tea Party Patriots

Civil Disobedience

My incoming emails were almost smoking this afternoon. Some members of the TPP around the country are feeling that we need to be far more assertive/agressive. I wrote the following blog in response. -- Stan

Last week, the Assistant Secretary of State expressed concern to China for the civil rights violations the Obama Administration expects to happen as a result of Arizona 1070. Yesterday, on American soil, the President of Mexico publically chastised Arizona over SB1070. Calderon lectures Arizona in President Obama's presence and rather than defend Arizona, Obama supported Calderon's criticisms! Today, the President of Mexico received a standing ovation from our politicians as he spoke in front of a joint session of Congress and again attacked Arizona. This is despicable! This is infuriating! This is on purpose.

As I understand it, (thanks Charles Krauthammer), anyone caught entering Mexico illegally is subject to a 2 year prison sentence. If caught a second time, it is a 10-year sentence. Now I don't know this for a fact, but my guess is Mexican prisons do not offer color TV and an exercise gym. There were just under 12,000 people murdered in Mexico in the past two years. How about President Calderon cleaning up his own house!

For two weeks, Obama and his minions, headed by the US Attorney General Holder and Homeland Security Chief Napolitano, have driven a wedge between Americans by going in front of the lapdog media and lamenting about the injustice of SB1070 (which practically mirrors existing Federal law). Now they admit that they never even read SB1070! It is only about 16 pages and they have not read the bill that they have been lambasting for two weeks!

What's up with all this? The answer is simple and horrible. The reason for all of the constant in-your-face insults to the American people is that the Obama Administration wants to incite civil unrest. That would provide them with the excuse they need to clamp down on the internet, talk radio, Tea Party Movement, etc. It would be done, of course, for the good of the country. They are starting to succeed. More and more Americans are saying they just can't take any more of this Administration's America bashing. There is a clamoring for more direct and immediate reaction via civil disobedience. Every time Obama craped on our friends such as Poland, the U. K. and Israel while bowing and kissing up to our enemies, the American people cringed. Yet, that hasn't been enough to accomplish the liberal/progressives goals. So now they malign the people of Arizona. Los Angles is boycotting Arizona and Arizona reminds LA that 25% of their electricity is supplied by Arizona. I can almost see that Cheshire cat smile on Obama's face. This is precisely what the progressives want to happen, state against state, ethnic group vs. ethnic group.

A comment about civil disobedience...we must not to go there, at least until we see what happens with the 2010 elections. The TTP movement has made tremendous strides. Look at Rubio and Paul. One more week and NY23 would have gone conservative. We are not just trading Liberal/Progressives for RINOs. There are a lot of good candidates running for office (black, white, Latino and Asian). I cannot remember such a thing. It is usually vote for this dirtbag or that dirtbag. We have a chance to take back our country at the ballot box. Let's not blow it. Arizona, you can help in a big way by dumping McCain.

If we go to civil disobedience now, the TPP will evaporate faster than a morning fog. All our work will have been for nothing. The Tea Party Movement will go from over 18 million to several thousand almost overnight. The socialist/communist in power in DC know this and will do all they can to instigate or fabricate it.

If we cannot take back the House in 2010 (Senate is also a possibility), we will not be able to wait until 2012. Obama, Soros, etc. will have destroyed our economy and have too large a percent of Americans dependent on government handouts. If that happens, and I pray it doesn't, I would be with you on civil disobedience.

Unplug The Political Machine -- Update
by the Citizen Power Campaign

While we were not able to gather enough signatures to qualify the Citizen Power Initiative for the November ballot, we are already working to raise money to put it on the ballot in 2012.

In the meantime, we know the problem won't go away. As the Governor's recent budget proposal shows, the state still faces a $20 billion deficit and public employee unions -- still the most powerful special-interest group in the state -- are putting pressure on legislators to raise taxes. As Senate leader Darrell Steinberg (D-Sacramento) said in the LA Times, Democrats want to give local governments "the ability to raise their own revenue," which effectively would "entail lowering Proposition 13's requirement of a two-thirds voter majority for most local tax increases."

We encourage you to stay educated about this issue and spread the word about the need for reform. Public employee unions should not be funneling your tax dollars to their political war chests -- it's that simple.

So what can you do? Stay informed and spread the word. In fact, here are some recent blog posts that you can share:

If you find an interesting article or want to share your thoughts about this issue, please feel free to log in and post a blog of your own. Let's keep up the fight in the court of public opinion so we're all the more ready for the election.
