The Candidate Forum that we are co-sponsoring with The Union and KNCO has been widely accepted by all the candidates that are running for office in Nevada County. They are all anxious to be participating in this first ever event in Nevada County.

We have also invited the Republicans, Democrats and Libertarians to have their own tables at which to have voter registration and candidate materials.

The event is being broadcast live on KNCO, and we expect that we will fill all 996 seats at the GV Veterans Memorial Hall. We are asking for a $5 donation from each person. All proceeds, after expenses, will go to the five veterans groups that use the facility. Our expenses include the rental of the building, insurance and permits and printing of programs.

We need volunteers to set-up chairs and tables on Wednesday March 31^st at 1 pm. Also, we need volunteers to help with the event itself on Thursday April 1^st at 5 pm. The event starts at 6 pm. Just show up. No need to confirm that you will be volunteering

If you have a red Tea Party Patriots t-shirt, be sure to wear it at the event. If you need a t-shirt for this event or the April 15^th Tea Party at the Capitol, please email me and we will tell you how to get one before the event. There will be no signs of any kind allowed at the event except for the sponsors.

This will be a great evening for everyone.
