Information on our Next NCTPP Board Meeting

We would like you to consider starting a "committee of your choice" and getting people to help you with that committee. Everyone has a special project or idea that they would like to see taken on. This is your opportunity to get it started. We will be glad to help you in any way we can.
For example, we need:
- Events Committee
- Email Committee
- Finance Committee
- Education Committee
- Public Relations/Advertising Committee
- Government Committee (people who will go to supervisor and city council meetings
and any other committee that you might be willing to start that will enhance our cause.
Collection for Central Valley Farmers
You have all heard by now about the plight of the central valley farmers and their families. The devastation has been caused throughout their communities because of the water being turned off to the central valley by the federal government. Unemployment in some communities is as high as 40%.
We, as Tea Party Patriots, want to be a part of the solution. To that end, we would like you to donate gift cards from Target and/or Wal-Mart (these two stores would be best), canned food or dry food, warm clothing (new or it can be clean and gently used) for babies, children and adults. If you wish to donate cash, please make it in the form of a money order or personal check made payable to "Saving the Valley". Also, new unwrapped toys would be greatly appreciated. The Central Valley Tea Party Patriots will make sure that everything we deliver will get to the right people.
Let's help make the holiday season special and meaningful for the less fortunate.
If you cannot make it to our Board meeting but would like to donate something, you can drop off your donations at Gold-N-Green Rentals (273-6604) located at 302 Railroad Avenue (off Idaho Maryland near the 49er Fun Park) in Grass Valley. The last day to drop off your donations is Friday, November 20, 2009 before noon
Several of us will be going down to Folsom on November 21st to drop off any items that we have collected. We would love to have you join us and caravan down to Folsom. We will be leaving from the Grass Valley K-mart parking lot at 8:30 a.m. If you plan on joining us, let me know. stan@mecklermail.com.
