We have a very exciting announcement this month! The Club at The Township has been given the "Notice to Proceed" with construction! Soon subcontractors will mobilize and as the weather permits work will begin. Thanks to all that have worked so hard to make this happen and a special thanks to St. Dominic's Health Services for their commitment to The Township and The Club. |

The Club facility has been given the Notice to Proceed with Construction!
We informed you last month of the exciting progress going on at The Club Pro Shop and Tennis Center. As you see here The Pro Shop is moving along nicely and, we anticipate opening sometime in April.
The commencement of construction on The Club facility is exciting and The Township is pleased to be bringing you the premier fitness and lifestyle center in the metro area. The Club will include:
- Indoor and Outdoor Pools with a separate kid's pool area featuring a super water slide and other water accessories
- World Class Fitness Facilities
- Full Service Spa
- Cafe and Retail Area
- Outstanding Locker Room Amenities
- Childcare
The $14 million dollar, 34,000 square foot facility will be located between AJ's on the Lake and The Club Tennis Center at the end of Township Avenue, which is The Township's "Main Street."  Jazz Festival - April 10
The Township's Third Annual Jazz Festival is now set. We have the same great team working on this event. Fusion Coffeehouse is again leading the charge with local great Raphael Semmes crafting a magnificent show.
The Festival will go on no matter what the weather may throw our way. As many of you may recall, the event was moved inside last year!
This year we are excited to have several new features, one of which will be a wine tasting at Viking Cooking School. Please save the date of April 10th and www.thetownshipevents.com in your "favorites" list. You will find clips of last year's event and updates as the line up is finalized on the website.
The Soulshine Blues and Groove Festival - May 22
The Blues and Groove Festival is a new event at The Township this year! It will feature a morning duathlon, cook-offs, tons of live music and much more. It is a cancer benefit event, so please help Soulshine and others support research for prostate cancer!
